Are you a detail-oriented and hardworking professional with experience in freight forwarding? Air & Sea Freight Forwarder required to join a renowned local business to take charge of coordinating and processing import, export, and domestic shipments. This is a permanent position for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee shipments from quotation to execution and client invoicing.
- Provide prompt and efficient responses to quote requests from both external and internal clients.
- Arrange shipments with carriers.
- Ensure all data is accurately entered into systems following company best practices.
- Address day-to-day issues with clients and vendors effectively.
- Communicate proactively with internal and external clients regarding any potential or actual service issues.
- Provide timely service and status updates as required by clients.
Role Requirements:
- Prior experience in freight forwarding is essential.
- Experience in handling import and export processes.
- Previous experience in customs clearance is required.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines while maintaining high productivity.
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail to ensure quality service.
