Fabricator, Aberdeen, Salary £35,900 to £37,900 per annum + Overtime Paid at x1.5 + Travel Time + Overnight Allowance!
Fabricator required to join a successful manufacturing facility based in Aberdeen. Multiple Fabricator opportunities are available, with immediate starts preferred, though candidates with notice periods will also be considered. This role involves both workshop-based work and site work across various industrial sites.
You will receive:
- Competitive salary up to £37,900 per annum, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at time and a half Monday through Friday (up to 12 hours); double time on weekends after 4 hours

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate steel structures and components for large commercial contracts
- Carry out welding processes, install structures and piping systems, and prepare steel plates, pipes, and sections for fabrication
- Work with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, Cunifer, and aluminium
- Measure and cut steel sections to precise specifications
- Operate fabrication machinery and tools in both the workshop and on various sites
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a heavy engineering or industrial environment
- Proficiency in metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
