Commercial Heating Engineer Role Key Responsibilities:
- HVAC System Installation & Maintenance: Install and service heating, chilled water, and commercial plumbing systems
- Pipefitting & Welding Expertise: Skilled in arc and gas welding on stainless steel, mild steel, copper, and galvanised pipework
- Advanced Connection Methods: Proficient in press-fit, Victaulic, brazing, and soldering techniques for reliable system assembly
- Project Leadership & Teamwork: Lead installations independently or collaborate with teams to ensure timely, high-quality results
- Client-Facing Professionalism: Communicate effectively with clients, delivering excellent service and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Heating Engineer Skills & Requirements:
- Essential Qualification: NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Heating, Plumbing, or Pipefitting
- Commercial Installation Experience: Proven track record in installing commercial plant rooms and boiler house systems
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in welding and a range of pipefitting methods for high-quality, reliable installations
- Project Management: Capable of overseeing and completing projects independently from start to finish
- Additional Skills (Desirable): Experience in gas testing, purging, or working with steam systems
- Client-Focused Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, customer-oriented approach
- Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence required for travel across multiple sites
