Gas Engineer, Glasgow, Salary £36,000 to £38,000 per annum + OTE £50K, Company Vehicle Package with Benefits!

 

Gas Engineer required to join a leading Facilities Management on a mobile basis covering South Lanarkshire and Glasgow. The Gas Engineer will be a skilled professional with a strong domestic gas background, proficient in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will be motivated to expand their expertise into commercial gas work.

Gas Engineer’s Daily Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on gas and boiler systems.
  • Ensure adherence to onsite Quality Assurance procedures and maintain accurate records/documentation.
  • Follow engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • Respond promptly to gas/heating-related reactive maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate actions with client requests and manage specialist sub-contractors.
  • Attend site meetings, provide reports, and contribute to contract growth.

 

Gas Engineer Requirements:

 

  • City & Guilds Parts SVQ 2/3 in Service & Maintenance or equivalent
  • Service & Maintenance Apprenticeship or recognized trade apprenticeship in heating – plumbing engineering
  • Gas Safe qualified
  • Experience in maintenance, fault diagnosis, and rectification
  • Preferred experience in facilities management.
