Key Responsibilities

• System Installation & Maintenance
  Install and maintain heating, plumbing, and chilled water systems in commercial plantrooms and boilerhouses.

• Welding & Pipework
  Perform arc and gas welding on a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and galvanised pipework. Use methods such as:

  • Press-fit

  • Victaulic

  • Brazed

  • Soldered

• Project Ownership
  Manage your own jobs or work as part of a small team, ensuring high standards and timely completion.

• Client Liaison
  Interact directly with clients, delivering professional and responsive service on-site.

Requirements

• Qualified Heating Engineer or Pipefitter – Recognised qualification required; Senior Craftsman level is a plus.

• Installation Experience – Strong background in plantroom and boilerhouse system installations.

• Welding & Pipework Proficiency – Skilled in arc and gas welding, with experience in various fitting methods.

• Material Knowledge – Confident working with mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and galvanised pipework.

• Self-Sufficient – Able to manage own workload and see projects through from start to finish.

• Additional Expertise – Gas testing and purging skills desirable.

• Steam System Familiarity – Experience preferred but not essential.

• Professional Demeanour – Comfortable in client-facing roles with strong communication skills.

• Driving Licence – Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
