Skilled Machinist – Precision Engineering | Static Site | East Kilbride | £32k to £40k

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our engineering team at our static site facility. This role involves setting up and operating precision machinery, including the Kerns Richard SH75 horizontal boring machine, lathes, drills, and milling machines.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate precision machines such as horizontal boring machines, lathes, drills, and milling machines
• Work to tight tolerances to produce high-quality components
• Interpret mechanical and technical drawings accurately
• Select and use appropriate machining tools and cutting techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating horizontal boring machines (ideally Kerns Richard SH75 or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
