Air Conditioning Service and Maintenance Engineer – Edinburgh - Temp to Perm Pay £21.00 - £23.00 37.5hrs a week
Aspirare Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for a skilled Maintenance and Service Engineer specialising in air-conditioning systems. This temp-to-perm role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining air-conditioning systems while adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems to minimise downtime.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as per client contracts and schedules.
- Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations and environmental standards.
- Complete accurate service records, job sheets, and documentation.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and team members.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance call-outs, resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe, working condition.
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and conduct risk assessments where necessary.
- Mentor and support junior engineers or apprentices when required.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
- Valid F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
