Stick Welders – Temporary role - Bridge of Allan - £21.00 per hour | Weekly Pay (Mon–Thu: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Fri: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Aspirare Recruitment are urgently seeking Skilled Stick Welders for a rolling contract based near Bridge of Allan, with works being carried out on the underside of a bridge in the Stirling area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders to join a high-performing team working on critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out stick welding on structural steel to a high standard, ensuring durability and safety
- Perform welding tasks on bridge undersides in challenging and varied site conditions
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately to guide welding work
- Complete quality checks and inspections on finished welds to ensure compliance with project standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Stick Welder in construction or industrial environments
- Valid CSCS Card – Essential
- Recognised welding certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or coded qualifications)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Solid knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and site safety
