Engineering Assistant – Factory / Manufacturing Support – Irvine, North Ayrshire - £23,000 to £24,000 - (Full-Time, Permanent)
We’re hiring an Engineering Assistant to join our factory-based team in Irvine. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and develop your mechanical and maintenance skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Engineer with the maintenance and servicing of Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Cleaning and replacing filters, coils, and belts
- Performing routine maintenance, including greasing and basic mechanical tasks
- Ensuring all work meets health & safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Promptly reporting any issues or faults to the Engineer
Requirements:
- Knowledge of AHU’S
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Some mechanical aptitude or experience in a similar environment is a plus
- Commitment to safety and quality at all times
