Key Responsibilities
- Perform coded MAG welding (135 & 138) on structural steel beams
- Execute flat and horizontal vertical welds on 12mm thick steel
- Adhere to strict quality assurance and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with workshop staff to meet project timelines
- Maintain high productivity while ensuring precision and weld integrity
Requirements
- Proven experience with MAG welding (135 and 138 processes)
- Skilled in flat and HV (horizontal/vertical) welding techniques
- Competent working with 12mm thick structural steel
- Possess valid welding codes or certifications (in-date preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed specifications
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
Desirable
- Experience in a steel fabrication workshop or similar setting
- Familiarity with structural welding standards and practices
