CNC Turner, £35,000 to £40,000, Glasgow, Permanent, Monday to Friday Dayshift
Exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to work for a leading engineering firm for a full-time permanent opportunity based in the south side of Glasgow. This role is ideal for a time-served or semi-skilled machinist with strong experience in turning operations and a background in precision engineering.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately manufacture high-precision components from technical drawings, ensuring a right-first-time approach
- Consistently meet production deadlines while maintaining strict quality standards
- Support process improvements and contribute to cost-effective manufacturing practices
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Adhere to all Health & Safety and Environmental regulations and company policies
- Work flexible 4- or 5-day shift patterns, with occasional rotational night shifts paid at £25/hour
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience as a Turner
- Proficient in operating Fanuc-controlled machines, including lathes, vertical borers, mill-turns, and 5-axis equipment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and meeting production standards
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and lean manufacturing methodologies
- Confident in using PCs and production-related software systems
