Job Title: Heating Engineer, Central Belt, UK, £37,000 – £40,000 per year + Overtime

Responsibilities:
- System Installation & Maintenance
Install, maintain, and service commercial heating, plumbing, and chilled water systems across diverse sites.
- Welding & Pipework
Carry out arc and gas welding on a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and galvanised pipework. Use various installation methods including press fit, Victaulic, brazed, and soldered systems.
- Project Ownership
Manage individual projects or work collaboratively within a small team to ensure timely and high-quality completion of works.
- Client Liaison
Communicate directly with clients to provide excellent service and maintain professional relationships.
Requirements:
- Qualified Heating Engineer or Pipefitter (Senior Craftsman status desirable)
- Demonstrable experience in plantroom and boilerhouse installations
- Proficient in arc and gas welding techniques
- Skilled with a variety of materials and pipefitting methods
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Desirable:
- Gas testing and purging experience
- Steam system experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong communication skills in client-facing situations
