Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on low-voltage electrical systems
- Perform routine PPM tasks in line with the SFG20 framework
- Respond to emergency situations, such as boiler failures
- Use diagnostic and test equipment to maintain and repair plant and systems
- Ensure system checks meet all current legislative requirements
- Manage contractors and enforce safe working practices
- Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in engineering services maintenance
- Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems
- Periodic inspection qualification (desirable)
- Background in PFI or education sector contracts (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
