Welder/Fabricator, Glasgow, £18.50 per hour + Overtime + Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Welder/Fabricator required to join a well-established steel fabrication company based in Dundee. This is a workshop-based role focused on producing structural and secondary steel components for the construction sector, with long-term opportunities and excellent overtime potential.
Position Details:
- Type: Temp-to-Perm
- Standard Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:15 PM (39 hours)
- Friday Hours: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (5 hours, paid overtime)

Responsibilities:
- MIG welding of staircases, handrails, and other structural/secondary steelwork
- Interpreting and working from technical fabrication drawings
- Operating overhead crane as required
- Working to high standards in a busy workshop environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MIG welding, particularly with 1mm solid wire
- Ability to read and understand technical fabrication drawings
- Comfortable working on structural steel components
- Overhead crane experience desirable but not essential
