Gas Engineers Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of commercial gas systems and related plant
- Deliver planned maintenance (PPM) tasks and respond to reactive callouts across a portfolio of client sites
- Accurately complete all compliance documentation and digital reports in a timely manner
- Carry out minor building fabric repairs and basic electrical tasks as required under the service contract
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and compliance regulations while working independently or as part of a team
- Take part in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours emergency support on a 1-in-6-week rotation
- Supervise subcontractors when needed and ensure all third-party work meets required quality and safety standards
- Highlight any remedial issues found during site visits and assist with the quoting and planning of additional works
- Issue permits to work, and oversee small works and access duties when necessary
Gas Engineers Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualifications, ideally City & Guilds Level II/III (or equivalent) in a mechanical or gas-related discipline
- Demonstrable experience working on commercial gas systems, including boilers, ventilation units, pumps, and associated controls
- Basic competency in general building maintenance and electrical work
- Thorough knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload across multiple locations
- Confident using handheld digital devices and reporting software
