Estimator’s Responsibilities:
As a Site Estimator, you will support the project delivery team by assisting with:
- Preparing and submitting accurate tenders and cost estimates
- Conducting detailed material take-offs
- Sourcing and ordering required steel and metal materials
- Liaising directly with main contractors and project stakeholders
- Contributing to cost planning, budgeting, and ensuring cost-effective procurement
- Maintaining clear documentation and supporting the commercial team as needed
Estimator’s Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Proven experience in estimating within a steel or metalwork environment
- Solid understanding of steel fabrication processes and materials
- Experience working on construction or engineering sites
- Strong organisational and communication skills – confident dealing with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
