AC Engineer opportunity to join a leading FM company in the Edinburgh area. The AC Engineer will play a key role in PPM, fault finding, and reactive maintenance for various air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV’s, and VRFs. The successful candidate will have a solid background in the Facilities Management industry.

Engineers Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal efficiency and reduce the risk of downtime
• Service and maintain a range of HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF units, split systems, and Air Handling Units (AHUs), ensuring peak performance and reliability
• Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and ventilation systems, responding promptly to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption on commercial sites
• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple commercial properties, upholding high standards of workmanship, safety, and regulatory compliance

Engineers Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in both planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
• A valid UK driving licence is required for travel between commercial sites.
• Must hold a current F-Gas 2079 certificate, meeting all regulatory standards.
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or a City & Guilds equivalent.
