We are hiring! Aspirare is seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to become part of a reputable Facilities Management team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality electrical services to a range of commercial properties throughout Edinburgh and its surrounding regions. Your duties will include carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems across multiple sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance: Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on commercial properties, covering systems such as power distribution, fire alarms, general and emergency lighting
• Fault Finding & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical issues, ensuring all work meets current health and safety regulations
• Documentation: Accurately log all work carried out using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Client Liaison: Engage with clients professionally to deliver timely, efficient, and high-quality service

Essential Requirements:

• 17th or 18th Edition Certification: Required to ensure all electrical work complies with current industry standards
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in Facilities Management or Building Services is highly desirable
• Recognised Apprenticeship: Must hold an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
