CNC Turner – Permanent Role (Day & Night Shift)

Day Shift: Monday to Friday – £19.50 to £19.70 per hour
Night Shift: 8:45 PM to 7:00 AM – £25.35 to £25.61 per hour
Flexible 4-day or 5-day shift patterns available
Includes some rotational nightshift work

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision components from customer drawings, ensuring first-time accuracy and meeting cycle time targets.

• Maintain high production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of machining and manufacturing methods.

• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

• Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or possess substantial experience as a CNC Turner.

• Hands-on experience using Fanuc controls across various machines, including:

  • Vertical borers

  • Lathes

  • Mill-turns

  • 5-axis lathes

• Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and lean manufacturing techniques.

• Proficient in basic computer/PC skills.
