MMA Welder – Confined Space Certified – £21–£25 Per Hour – Bridge of Allan, Stirling – Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting experienced MMA Welders with Confined Space Certification for a short-term, site-based project working on major infrastructure across Scotland. This role involves structural welding on the underside of bridge structures, performing MMA welding on bridge support steel in challenging and safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MMA welding on bridge support steel structures
• Work underneath bridge decks and in confined spaces
• Ensure all welding is completed to safety and structural standards
• Interpret and follow technical drawings and site instructions
• Comply with all site-specific health and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors
• Report any hazards, defects, or incidents immediately

Requirements

• Confined Space Certification (Essential)
• Valid CSCS Card
• Proven experience in MMA (stick) welding
• Previous experience with bridge or structural steelwork (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
