CNC Miller, £35-£40K, Glasgow, Permanent, Monday to Friday, Dayshift, Permanent

Exciting CNC Miller opportunity with a leading engineering company who are expanding and looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology on high-specification components within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-precision components from customer-supplied drawings, meeting tight turnaround times
• Deliver consistently high-quality results with a right-first-time mindset
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimise waste
• Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and company policies
• Participate in rotational night shifts as required (paid at £25/hour)

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in CNC Milling – essential
• Proficient in operating Fanuc-controlled 5-axis, vertical, and horizontal milling machines
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performance, team-oriented environment
• Solid understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles
• Confident in using basic PC applications and production software systems
