Fabric Engineer, Whitley Bay, Salary £32,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fabric Engineer to join our team in Whitley Bay. This full-time position involves performing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the building fabric is well-maintained. The role offers stable working hours with no call-out duties, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Planned and Reactive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building fabric elements, including doors, windows, ceilings, walls, and flooring.
• General Maintenance Tasks: Undertake minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating duties to maintain the overall condition of the building.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of completed tasks for reporting and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in fabric maintenance or a similar role within facilities management.
• Skills: Basic skills in building repairs, carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.
• Health and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
• communication: Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
