Mobile Electrician, Slough, £42,000 per annum, Permanent, 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
Mobile Electrician opportunity! We are seeking a dependable and experienced Mobile Electrician to join our Facilities Management (FM) team. This role involves servicing a portfolio of commercial properties across Slough, Wembley, Islington, North West London, and along the M4/M25 corridors toward Reading and Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and conduct electrical testing
- Maintain and service emergency lighting, small power systems, lighting installations, and distribution boards
- Provide occasional support with fabric and general maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and statutory regulations
- Liaise effectively with site teams, FM helpdesk, and clients to coordinate work and resolve issues
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
- Valid 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification (essential)
- Experience working within the facilities management (FM) or building services industry
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) – desirable
- Willingness and ability to undertake some non-electrical FM tasks as needed
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding abilities paired with excellent customer service skills
