AC Engineer, Edinburgh, Salary from £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, + OTE £55,000+ Overtime, Van & Fuel Card, Travel Time Paid at 1.5x!

We are looking for an AC Engineer to join a leading FM company in the Edinburgh area. The AC Engineer will play a key role in PPM, fault finding, and reactive maintenance for various air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV’s, and VRFs. The successful candidate will have a solid background in the Facilities Management industry.

Engineers Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to ensure air conditioning systems operate reliably and efficiently.
• Service and maintain various HVAC systems, including VRVs, VRFs, split units, and Air Handling Units (AHUs), optimising performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in air conditioning and ventilation systems, providing a prompt response to breakdowns on commercial sites.
• Carry out general maintenance and repair work across a range of commercial properties, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with standards.

Engineers Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven Experience
• Solid background in both planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A valid UK driver’s licence is essential for travel between sites.
• F-Gas Certification
• Must hold a valid F-Gas 2079 certification.
• Relevant Qualifications
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or a City & Guilds equivalent.
