Continuing a proud tradition at Aspirare, our team participated in this year’s Kiltwalk in support of our chosen charity, Spirit Aid. Collectively, we raised over £1,000 which reflects the dedication and generosity of each team member. Our partnership with Spirit Aid is one we value deeply, and we are committed to supporting their vital work throughout the year. Events like the Kiltwalk, one of Scotland’s most popular charity fundraisers, providing an excellent platform to raise both funds and awareness for this incredible cause.

Walking together: How the Kiltwalk Strengthens Team Bonds

Established in 2011, the Kiltwalk has become one of Scotland’s top sponsored walking events, with participation growing steadily over the years. Since 2016, more than 178,000 individuals have taken part annually. In partnership with The Hunter Foundation, the event has raised an outstanding £49.6 million to date, supporting over 3,700 Scottish charities.

While the Kiltwalk is an exceptional platform for charitable giving, it also offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to come together in a spirit of community and celebration. For the team at Aspirare, it was not only about supporting a worthy cause, but also about strengthening team bonds. The event fostered collaboration, encouragement, and a shared sense of achievement as we walked together and celebrated our collective efforts.

Despite the challenges posed by the rain on the day, moods remained high, and our determination never wavered. We embraced the experience wholeheartedly, enjoying every moment from start to finish. It was a meaningful and memorable accomplishment for our entire team.

Empowering Change: Our Ongoing Partnership with Spirit Aid

For nearly 20 years, Spirit Aid has made a profound impact on the lives of children suffering from poverty, neglect, abuse, lack of opportunity, and humanitarian crises. At Aspirare, we view the Kiltwalk as an important platform to raise awareness for this remarkable cause, while demonstrating our ongoing support throughout the year.

Our Director, Martin McCrum, serves as an Ambassador for Spirit Aid, a charity that is deeply meaningful to both him and our business. Our dedication to this cause is unwavering, and every member of our team continues to support Spirit Aid’s mission.
