Job Description

Our client requires a Technical Manager to drive forward technical management of staff and plan resources in line with service and delivery.

 

Our client is the fastest growing facilities management company in the UK winning a variety of lucrative facilities management contracts.

 

The Technical Manager must be from a facilities management background and have at least 10 years in the building services industry and 5 years of them at a senior level managing staff and resources. The Technical manager will manage and control and variety of skilled engineers

 

ROLE OVERVIEW

 

As the Technical Manager you will own, manage and develop a team of around 15 multi-disciplined engineers.

 

Other duties will include the ability to allocate the correct resources to reactive calls, manage SLA disciplines, maintain plan and arrange fixed price works.

 

Responsibility for all hiring initiatives inclusive holiday planners, staff appraisals in line with business needs and providing monthly and sickness reports to the operational director.

 

You will also be involved in the continuous development of systems and procedures. Full responsibility will be assumed and driven with staff inductions.
