FIELDS SALES/ACCOUNT MANAGER
BASED:  Home office, covering Central Belt of Scotland Territory (occasional trips to head office in the Midlands may be required)
HOURS: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm (core hours for visiting customers are school hours)
SALARY £40,000 basic and £5000 car allowance
FULL TIME, PERMANENT ROLE

UK wide supplier of subsidised products, established over 20 years and now about to grow even further in Scotland!

This organisation are customer service award winners, working in partnership with local authorities, with their huge customer base being over 300 primary, infant, junior and special schools.

THE ROLE

This is purely a relationship and Account Management role, where you will be required liaise between the product suppliers (all local/Scottish suppliers) as well as managing a large client base of 300 EXISTING customers on a cyclical and ongoing basis.

The role is ALL about customer care delivery.

•Meeting with the local suppliers

•Meeting each and every customer face to face on a regular, appointed basis (all schools and nurseries).

•Discuss their ongoing needs, orders, delivery schedules and volumes from the suppliers

•YOU will be the central cog that brings the suppliers and end users together.

•Ensuring each and every customer is taken care of, any of their issues or problems are responded to and acted upon quickly and efficiently

•Continue to build great trust and generally make sure that every customer experiences the highest levels of sales, service and care possible – YOU are the “go to” person that all customers will call when they require support, input or issues with the supply of their products.

THIS IS NOT AN AGGRESSIVE OR HARD SELL ORGANISATION

The customer base are all primary schools and nurseries mainly based in the West Central Scotland (covering Glasgow to Edinburgh and all areas in between the two cities).

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•Previous FIELD based Account Management experience (YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM of 4 years Field Sales/Field Account Management experience in order to run this size of customer base)

•Proven relationship builder and able to demonstrate (at interview) your past experience of running a large customer base.

•Ideally a background of dealing with a schools and/or nurseries as your customer base

•Full UK driving license (no more than 3 points).
