Pay & Shifts:
- Day Shift: £19.50 – £19.70 per hour (Monday–Friday, flexible 4- or 5-day patterns)
- Night Shift: £25.35 – £25.61 per hour (8:45 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Permanent, full-time role with consistent hours and shift flexibility

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, vertical borers, mill-turns, and 5-axis machines using Fanuc controls
- Produce precision-engineered components from technical drawings
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure first-time quality on all parts
- Work efficiently to meet production cycle times and cost targets
- Support process improvement initiatives and tooling optimisation
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental policies
Requirements:
Essential:
- Time-served engineering apprenticeship or significant experience as a CNC Turner
- Proven experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery
- Skilled in operating vertical borers, lathes, mill-turns, and 5-axis CNC machines
- Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Good PC literacy and ability to complete technical reports accurately
