Plant Operator, Falkirk, £28,740 to £30,740 per annum, Immediate Start Available + Life Cover!

Plant Operator required to work alongside the Operations Team at a Manufacturing Facility in Falkirk. The Plant Operator will work between the hours of 06:30am to 16:30pm from Monday to Friday.

The candidate applying for this role will have experience in the operation and basic maintenance of the machines and ideally, but not essentially, hold a Plant Operator's Licence and be qualified to NVQ level.

The Plant Operator’s Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all material bays are emptied, and material is deposited into the correct areas.
• Ensure all mobile plant basic maintenance, cleaning, and inspections are carried out and recorded as per the company's and manufacturer's instructions and procedures.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the plant in accordance with the site licence and contractual conditions.
• Load awaiting vehicles/skips with recovered/residual materials in line with company standards and Health and Safety legislation.
• Carry out other tasks within your operational ability or for which you have received appropriate training, as and when required.

Plant Operator’s Requirements:

• Full UK Driving License.
• Prior Experience working in a Factory/ Process Environment.
• Experience Operating Mobile Plants.
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• An awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Plant Operator’s Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of the waste/ recycling industry.
• Ability to identify different types of waste.
• Experience in continuous process operations.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• NVQ qualification in a relevant field.
• CSCS card.
