Server Engineer, Glasgow, £50,000 per annum

Experienced, hands-on Server Engineer required to deliver IT Services to meet the business infrastructure and platform needs of the business in line with significant growth. The successful Server Engineer will be delivering 3d Line Cloud Infrastructure BAU support of over 200 servers.

The Server Engineer must have experience in the following:

• Administration of Windows Servers
• Infrastructure Administration – using Windows, Linux, Web, Database Servers, Storage, Management of 3rd Party Providers and key priorities of a Server Engineer
• Exchange, Office 365, and messaging systems
• ITIL frameworks - in particular Incident and change management
• Core Windows server technologies (IIS, DHCP, DNS, PKI / NTFS)

Technical Requirements of the Server Engineer:

• Knowledge of Identity Management - Active Directory (multi domain & forest) / ADFS (SSO) / Azure AD Connect / Azure Active Directory / Multi-Factor Authentication and Group Policy Management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL (T-SQL scripting / AOAG / backup & recovery / SSRS / Power BI)
