Full Job Description:

Transport Assistant, East Kilbride, Up to £22,500 per year

Transport Assistant required to work with our client based in East Kilbride, who are a market leader providing essential manufacturing and distribution services to their clients.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Materials handling - Responsible for material deliveries, goods in and stock take within the warehouse.
Working alongside the dispatch team to ensure orders are allocated and sent on time
Updating spreadsheets for stock levels
Candidates applying should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and excel, and have a valid forklift licence or be willing to undertake forklift training.

Previous experience/knowledge of the transport industry, including driving rules/regulations would be advantageous, however not essential.
