Coach Builder Responsibilities:

• Dismantle and refurbish both interior and exterior components of trains and
• rolling stock
• Carry out bodywork repairs including rust treatment, dent removal, welding, and
• panel reassembly
• Perform corrosion inspections and replace damaged structural parts
• Install new interior fittings such as flooring, ceilings, partitions, and seating
• Remove, inspect, and repair external and internal carriage panels
• Clean, prep, and finish rail components using appropriate tools and materials
• Use hand, air, and power tools to complete tasks with precision and efficiency
• Ensure safe working practices and maintain high standards of teamwork
• Follow engineering protocols and company quality procedures at all times

Coach Builder Requirements:

• Fully time-served Coach Builder with appropriate qualifications or certifications
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve defects
• Committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship
