Electrical Estimator, Glasgow, Salary from £40,000 to £46,000 per annum + Company Vehicle, Company Pension Scheme & Private Healthcare!

Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop competitive, cost-effective tenders tailored to meet specific client needs. You will play a key role in the preparation and management of tenders, from initial receipt of documents through to final delivery, while also supporting project coordination and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• 80% Electrical Estimating: Produce accurate and detailed electrical estimates to support successful bids.
• 10% Material Ordering: Source and order materials required for projects.
• 10% Team Management: Oversee and coordinate electricians to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Attend client and site liaison meetings to maintain strong relationships and ensure project alignment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary bid team when required to deliver high-quality tenders.
• Coordinate workforce and materials to meet project deadlines and budgets.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of electrical estimating experience within an electrical contracting background.
• Possession of an Approved or Technician SJIB grade card.
• In-depth knowledge of current IEE regulations.
• Valid CSCS site safety certificate.
• Strong understanding of the construction process.
• Previous estimating experience in Street Lighting and Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage projects from award to completion.
