Joiner, Edinburgh, Competitive Hourly Pay!
We currently have a job coming soon to Aspirare for a Joiner to work in the Edinburgh area. The Joiner will be responsible for carrying out general joinery and other remedial tasks. Keep an eye out for when this job goes live!
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitting and finishing doors, windows, and staircases.
- Installing and detailing skirting, architraves, and mouldings.
- Fitting bespoke cabinetry and shelving.
- Working with various woodwork finishes (varnishing, staining, painting).
- Ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and precision.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborating with other trades on site to ensure timely project completion.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a finishing joiner (minimum 3 years).
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in carpentry.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
