This is a workshop-based nightshift role, working Monday to Thursday, 7:00pm to 7:00am (finishing 7:00am Friday). The position is offered on an ongoing 13-week contract, with the possibility of moving into a permanent role for the right candidate. The role is based in Tranent.
Nightshift working pattern (Monday to Thursday)
Long weekends every week

Working on key infrastructure fabrication projects
Fabricating structural components used in pylon towers
Carrying out clip shaping and manipulation of materials
Working with angle irons and various RSS sizes
Completing back cuts and extensive grinding as required
Performing steel and aluminium cutting, welding, burning, and grinding
Using hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
Completing fabrication tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Chargehand
Ensuring work is carried out to high quality and safety standards
Fabrication background with relevant workshop experience
Experience working with hand tools, including angle grinders
Ability to carry out grinding, cutting, and shaping of materials
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to required standards
Candidates based in or able to commute to the East Coast area
