Fabricator Kirkcaldy, Temp to Perm, Workshop & Site-Based, £18.50 – £20.00 per hour,

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Fabricator in Kirkcaldy to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis, working across both workshop and site environments. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £18.50 – £20.00, depending on experience, alongside strong benefits and long-term career potential within a well-established steel fabrication business.

Responsibilities:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm, Friday: 6:45am – 2:45pm
• Carry out welding and fabrication of structural steel beams and columns
• Fabricate railings, gates, and staircases to customer drawings
• Undertake on-site fabrication and assist with installations as required
• Read and follow engineering drawings, verbal, and written instructions
• Fabricate and weld to a high standard of quality within agreed timeframes
• Operate machinery and plant, including hand tools, power tools, and forklift truck
• Adhere at all times to company safe working practices and weld procedures
• Achieve and maintain relevant welder qualifications
• Plan work effectively and solve problems with minimal supervision
• Ensure site-specific RAMS are followed at all times
• Carry out ongoing and final checks of completed work
• Maintain a tidy workshop and assist in keeping the yard organised

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Clean UK driving licence
• Proven structural steel fabrication experience
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Forklift license
