Mechanical Engineer required to join a prestigious manufacturing company, based in the Airdrie area. The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in keeping the department running smoothly, while also carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, helping minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, keeping operations uninterrupted.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, ensuring longevity and reliability of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults.
- Undertake minor building and equipment repairs, ensuring facilities remain in high quality conditions and are operational.
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts as outlined and occasional overtime when needed.
