Are you a qualified electrician looking for your next challenge? An exciting role has opened up for mobile electricians based in Central Scotland, offering top-tier hourly rates, specialist training, and the chance to work on critical infrastructure across the UK.

Work That Takes You Places

This role isn’t your average 9-to-5. As a mobile electrician, you’ll be travelling across the UK, working on live gas infrastructure sites. Accommodation and meals are fully covered while you’re working away, making this an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy variety and hands-on, field-based work. You’ll be supported every step of the way with full logistical planning and a close-knit team environment.

Great Pay and Career Progression

Starting at £23–£24 per hour, paid weekly, this role offers a competitive edge in the industry. It begins as a 13-week temp-to-perm contract, giving you time to settle in and prove yourself, with the strong potential to become a permanent team member.

Beyond the great pay, there’s a strong focus on career development. Electricians will be supported in gaining 2391 Inspection & Testing and CompEx certifications—highly valuable in specialist sectors like energy and gas.

Skills & Requirements

To apply, you’ll need:

  • 18th Edition Certification
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in commercial electrical installations

Having 2391 or Comp Ex is advantageous, but not essential—training will be provided.

Specialised Projects That Make a Difference

This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to work on essential infrastructure that keeps the country running. From lighting and instrumentation upgrades to complex testing on live gas sites, every task you complete has a real impact on safety and energy reliability nationwide.

Conclusion

This is a standout opportunity for electricians who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Whether you’re looking to broaden your experience, earn well, or gain specialist qualifications, this role ticks all the boxes. Join a dynamic team, travel the UK, and be part of essential infrastructure work. Apply today and spark a new phase in your career!
