Workplace bullying

Almost 70% of employees have been a victim of bullying in the workplace, compared to 52% in 2003, according to research by workplace law experts Peninsula.

The research found that 44% of victims were bullied by member of management and 56% were bullied by a work colleague.

It found that 62% of those who feel they have been bullied in work say that it has had a detrimental impact on their personal life.

The research shows that bullying in the workplace has significantly increased since 2003, with 69% of employees saying that they have been exposed to bullying in the workplace, compared to 52% in 2003.

The research found that 69% of workers would never consider reporting bullying to their employer and 89% of workers are not sure whether their employer has policies relating to bullying and harassment at work.
