Senior Structural Engineer Glasgow £27k- £29k

Aspirare Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer that is Chartered or working towards Chartered status to join a busy office based in Glasgow City centre.

The role will not, however, be a team leader role but rather one that allows the successful candidate to concentrate on being an Engineer only.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Work competently on an independent basis

Communicate directly with clients

Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work

Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians (including verification of quality)

Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design.

Prepare Technical Specifications

Monitor financial performance of jobs

Set up and manage job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure Ensuring Senior Staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.

Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client's bests interests, also that the job is being run keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
