Our Clients ongoing success has led to excellent opportunities for an Engineering Manager within the Motherwell office.

You will have experience of Siemens PLC and will have come from a Senior Engineering role or Engineering role within a similar industry.

Your overall objectives will be the management and co-ordination of the site installation team and associated sub-contractors and the design of the electrical installations associated with the delivery of mission critical process control, automation and information management systems primarily to the power and process industries, within cost and time constraints and to customer expectation.

Key duties and responsibilities

* Deliver projects to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.

* Plan and manage project resources.

* Ensure health and safety is maintained at all times.

* Operate within the requirements of our ISO9001 approved management system.

* Produce, progress, review and maintain site plans.

* Co-ordinate all site activities.

* Produce design for site electrical works e.g. cabling diagrams, schedules and associated calculations.

* Obtain tenders for work packages and select and control project suppliers and sub-contractors. It is expected that the successful candidates will have a technical background and a demonstrable knowledge of similar roles. You will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills and a strong desire to succeed.
